The Colorant Kit contains 80-100 mesh mineral oxide pigments measured and combined with a proprietary bonding agent and water creating a slurry that absorbs into the surface of the masonry structure. Once applied, the water evaporates away leaving the pigment and the bonding agent to chemically attach itself to the masonry substrate. Once dried, the bonding agent does not seal the brick, leave a film, fade, peel or crack. Our product bonds well with any masonry product that has absorption. For example, Brick, Block, Mortar, Mfg Stone, Stone, Cast Stone, Natural Limestone just to name a few. Our color enhancement process has been tested in an independent nationally recognized laboratory to exceed 40 years of weathering with no sign of any fail point.
